International Students

Terra Dotta University is host to many international students and faculty. We welcome people from all over the world to come to our campus and earn a 4-year undergraduate degree, a master's degree or teach classes. We are proud to say that international students account for almost 10% of our undergraduate and almost 45% of our graduate student body population.

International applicants must meet the same requirements as regular undergraduate or graduate applicants. Additionally, they must also:

• apply for a student visa from the United States government
• prove financial independence
• prove an advanced English-speaking ability (if your native language is not English)

STUDENT VISAS
The government of the United States requires that all students coming to the USA to study must first obtain a student visa. Your acceptance to Terra Dotta University is not dependent on receiving a visa; however your acceptance will be revoked if you fail to get the student visa before classes begin. APPLICATION PROCESS
All international students must go through the same application process. International students who are applying to earn a degree from TDU and those who only want to come to TDU for a semester or year while earning a degree from their home institution will need to apply through the TDU Admissions Office. 

After beginning this application you will receive instructions for contacting the International Student and Scholar Services Office.  The Admissions Office and International Student and Scholar Services Office will be working together to help you complete your TDU application and to assist in the visa application process.

The deadline for international students to submit their applications is earlier than students applying from the United States because international students must apply for their student visas. 

GRADUATE INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
In addition to the regular application, international students applying to a graduate program will also need to submit an application directly to that graduate program's admissions office.  You will find all necessary information on the web pages for the various graduate programs at TDU.
